The Most Unique Place to Stay in Utah

A treehouse built on a 100-year-old cottonwood's trunk is a truly unique and once-in-a-lifetime lodging experience!

The land at East Zion Resort is full of amazing trees, and when a 100-year-old cottonwood died, we couldn’t bear to part with it. Instead of chopping it down, we preserved the trunk and built a treehouse around it.

Our original treehouse is the most unique place to stay near Zion National Park. It’s the perfect accommodation for a special vacation. Are you celebrating a birthday or anniversary, or just want to get away in style? Look no further than this unforgettable treehouse.

Amenities

Inside, you’ll find a tastefully rustic space with modern and clean finishes and everything you need for a pleasant stay. The full bathroom is stocked with toiletries, and the kitchenette has a two-burner stove, refrigerator, toaster, coffeemaker, and microwave. Upstairs in the loft, you’ll find a king bed and a couch that pulls out to sleep an extra guest. We offer free Wi-Fi, DirectTV, and access to Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming services.

The large picture windows provide incredible views of The Sugar Knoll plateau. Don’t miss the stars at night–you can see them right from your bed!

Feel free to wander the property to see the free-range chickens, some old farm equipment original to the land, and our homegrown garden during the summer growing season.

Accommodation Limits

The original treehouse at East Zion Resort can comfortably hold 3 to 4 guests. It contains one bedroom with a king bed, a pullout sofa, and a full bathroom.

THE ORIGINAL TREEHOUSE REVIEWS

View looking up out of a deep red rock slot canyon

The pictures were amazing to look at and explore online while booking but still didn’t do this place justice.
It took us back to being kids again. The attention to detail and ingenuity that went into this place is humbling. I just love how they preserved and restore this Cottonwood then turned it into something so special.

The treehouse was beautiful, comfortable and fun! We enjoyed every minute and hope to bring our family back to the area next summer. We are amazed at the vision and the talent of our hosts in constructing and decorating the treehouse. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun experience.

What am amazing treehouse!! We LOVED the rock climbing into the house (surprisingly challenging!), the cozy fire, beautiful porch swing, the classy decor and the stoicism comfortable king bed. My husband is begging to come back. The hot tub was also great!
