THE ORIGINAL TREE HOUSE
Tree house built on the trunk of a 100 year old cottonwood tree, a truly unique and amazing lodging experience! 3 guests, 1 bedroom, 2 beds, 1 bath
Our hundred year old cottonwood tree died last year and we just couldn't cut it down. So, what did we do? We preserved the trunk and built us a tree house to share with everyone!
Our guests are more than welcome to access the tree house through the hobbit door that opens up to the inside of the tree trunk. That's right, we even managed to hollow out the inside of this giant tree and have added a climbing wall access for our serious adventurers. Don't worry though, we also have exterior stairs to make your stay just a little bit easier.
The home itself has been tastefully constructed with a rustic design and some modern and clean finishes. Our tree house has everything you need for a pleasant stay. We have a full sized bathroom with all the toiletries provided. The kitchenette has a two burner stove, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, and microwave. The loft has a king size bed and the couch pulls out to sleep extra guests as well. We have free wifi, DirectTV, and access to Netflix, Hulu, etc.
The large picture windows allow you to see the incredible views of The Sugar Knoll plateau. The stars are impressive as well, and you can see them right from your bed!
Feel free to wander around and see the free-range chickens, some fun old farm equipment that is original to the land, and our homegrown garden (during the summer growing season).
