Getting from the Airport to Zion National Park

Once you’ve chosen your arrival airport, you will drive the remainder of the way to Zion National Park. Depending on your airport of choice, you will have one or multiple of the following transportation options:

Rental Cars – Opting for a rental is our top recommendation for getting to Zion, as you will likely need a car to travel between your accommodations and the Park each day. Each of the 6 airports we mentioned offers car rental services, with pricing and availability varying by demand. For families or large groups, renting a car is the easiest way to stay together throughout your trip.

Shuttle Services – Shuttle services to Zion are limited, but if you prefer this option, flying into LAS, CDC, or SGU will give you the greatest shuttle choices. Most shuttle services operate primarily during peak spring/summer months, so remember to book your reservation well in advance, as seats are limited. Here are two local shuttle services you can consider:

Ride-Sharing Apps (Uber/Lyft) – Uber and Lyft are available at the larger airports like LAS and SLC, but as you get closer to Zion, there are fewer ride-share drivers with availability. Be thoughtful as you consider this option, as there’s always a chance you won’t be able to secure a ride-share ride.

Taxis – Like ride-share, taxis are available at the two international airports, LAS and SLC. It’s important to note that this transportation option will likely be the most costly.
